About Dr. Rita Bsaibes
Dr. Rita Elena Bsaibes is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Wellness Advance Center in Abu Dhabi. She earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain in 2011 and completed her Psychiatry residency at Rashid Hospital, Dubai in 2017. She holds certification from the Arab Board of Health Specialization in Psychiatry and has been a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) since 2019.
With over ten years of clinical experience, Dr. Bsaibes has worked across diverse and multicultural healthcare settings in both the UAE and the UK. She has played a key role in implementing mental health triage systems, developing electronic medical records, and contributing to the advancement of mental health strategies and policies.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Bsaibes has served as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and as a university coordinator for medical student psychiatry clerkships.
Dr. Bsaibes specializes in general adult psychiatry and provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions. She has a particular interest in perinatal mental health and extensive experience supporting women across different stages of life. Dr. Bsaibes is committed to destigmatizing mental health care and strongly advocates for early intervention.
